This morning, I am feeling very vexed. I was supposed to receive payment for an advertisement. Normally when you want to purchase something, you have to pay first. Even if it is just for a service, you will need to pay a deposit first. But I was too kind. I trusted the other party’s words. He promised to pay me yesterday when I am done with my work.
On Saturday I was working hard on it, I sacrificed my whole afternoon working on the sites. As blogger was down, I got anxious, worried that I might not able to finish in time for him. On Sunday, I worked on those sites that I have not finished. And finally in the evening, I finally finished everything, and I sent him an email to tell him, as a courtesy.
Yesterday, I received NO MAIL AT ALL from him. Today, I sent out a paypal request payment to him. And until now no reply.
I am just angry that is he making a fool out of me? I sacrificed by weekends on this, and I sacrificed my time on this, I could have spent my time with my family, visit my mother, but I told her that I am not free this weekends. Now here I am, never even get any compensation for my hard work done and have to suffer backache and neck ache for nothing. I feel so cheated.
I need to vent out my frustration. So I went to Helium, see got any topic about getting cheated. But I come across this topic and that is what I wrote:

It’s so unfortunate that during my study time, computer programming or even the use of computer was not taught thoroughly. Everything was only books and paperwork. Nowadays, students, as young as Primary one level, are taught to use the computer. And even now, in Singapore, there is a Polytechnic, Republic Polytechnic, which uses computer for their studies. The students do not need to bring books. Everyday, what the students have to do is their Computer Notebook.
With the computer and technology so advance now, a lot of people are earning fast bucks on the internet. But you need to be a computer savvy person. Unfortunately I know nothing about programming. But there are people around me who knows about computer programming. They can write scripts and launch their own money making websites. To do any business in the internet world, you must have at least a website to start with.
There are different ways of making money on the internet. Some people are good at investing money for people. And they launch a website about Making Money fast, Earning BIG money and How to be a millionaire and so on. All these are some ways to attract people to visit their website and to sign up on their program.
The above is writing scripts for your own website. For people who do not know how to do that, they have to seek website designer to do for them. There, the website designer will have opportunities to work for these people. With a website, you can do wonders. You can sell your products of your own, or you can sign up for affiliate programs and start selling products for them.
As people are doing business transaction and using money to pay for services and products from all the countries, payment system and the security problems for the internet is an important issues. Some people can make money by writing scripts about protecting their computer from hackers and have a higher security. Some even have their scripts encrypted.
A lot of people are selling e-books now. I suppose they need programming knowledge to do these as well. With programming knowledge, a person can also help to solve their problems on the internet faster. I think, in order to ‘survive’ in the internet world of business, you need to at least know some programming language like HTML and Java.
When I was working as a financial adviser (insurance adviser), I always have to collect the first month premium from the client. Of course this is always the policy for paying for objects in general. But some people are just so inconsiderate. I have only myself to blame. It’s another lesson learnt. My trust for people has decreased even further now.
The links are still up at my site. Just in case he is busy yesterday and today, I do not know. But I will give him until tonight. If he don’t pay up by tonight, I will REMOVED his LINKS from my sites. This is very outrageous. I am looking for trouble myself.
On the other hand, I was happy that my application for blogsvertiser was approved already.
