Compliments

Look after your garden well. Not all people who visit your garden will appreciate it and like it. As long as you have put in your effort and done your best to make your garden looks good, the plants are healthy and you look after them, you do not need to care about what other people have to say.
A sincere compliment boosts one’s morale. Indeed this is very true. I just received a mail from one of the advertiser. He is very satisfied with what I have written for his website.
I find that when we do things, we always must do a proper job. We have to be serious in what we are doing, and put in effort to do it well.
When I was working as an adviser, I always treat all my clients well. Being a customers myself to many shops and even salespeople out there in the market, I sincerely do not want to be treated the way I was treated. Knowing the experience and how it is like to be treated with poor service and the unethical behaviour of some salespeople, I of course do not want to be one of them. (And I do not wish to mention all these bad experience and what these people do. Whether you have experience this kind of poor service and unethical behaviour from salespeople, I think everyone of the people should have encounter at least once or twice in their life. And I often hear my clients told me about what their other advisers or agents had done…)
Whether we receive compliments or not, it is our duty to do our own duties well - your duty as a spouse, your duty as a child, your duty as a parent, your duty as an employee or employer, and for some people, even duty as a landlord or tenants and the duty as a citizen to your country.
In this world, there will always be people who like you and some people out there who are against you. Of course if we meet the latter, we will feel demoralise. Life is like walking (working) everyday, searching for the source of food (working for money, to maintain our daily living). Depending on your speed you desired, you can walk, run, crawl and so on. There are many people out there searching for food as well. You can use different methods to get your food. When you use made use of a net (employee) to help you to catch fish or seafood, you have to treat the net with care. If you do not treat it well, it will not last long and you have to get another net. When the net has done a proper job of holding more fish and seafood for you, when you compliment it, let it knows, it will perform better. For people who are never contented with the amount of fish the net has got, for those people who are not pleased with the net, for appearance or for other reasons, as long as the duties of the net is fulfilled, it is a good net. The net’s conscience is clear, it has done it’s best.
So we should always perform our best in anything. Put our effort in doing our duties well. Keep sowing the seeds of love around you. Take care of the seeds. You may not see your seeds growing, as growing is a gradual process. Just keep sowing your seeds and wait for your plant to grow. To see the flowers bloom is what we desire and hope to see. To get the fruits will be a great accomplishment. Even if there is no flowers and no fruits, the seeds will still grow to give you a garden too.
