Singapore Green Festival

I had seen the ‘Silver’ man, the ‘Silver’ woman or ‘Golden’ man or ‘Golden’ woman before, who are immobile and looked still. However, I have never seen a green man before. Today, the very first time I had seen the ‘Green’ man at Causeway Point, Woodlands. I am definitely not the only curious ones there.
The ‘Green’ man was surrounded by curious crowds. It was a hot topic at the scene. Many were taking photos and a video of it. I had managed to take a few fast snap and I must admit these were terrible shots. There were worst ones which I had deleted. Many people walked forward to shake hands with him.
My camera is obviously not that good and I cannot capture the details. The eyes were painted red actually.
I wonder what is all this about. Take a closer look at the board.
So it is a promotion for NorthWest Green Festival, lasting for a month, from 30 June to 31 July 2007. There will be roadshow at Bukit Panjang Plaza on 30 June and 1 July, Saturday and Sunday respectively from 12 noon to 8 pm.
