Avilion Castle
By Peace | July 2, 2007
This is Avilion Castle, at Avilion Grove in Second Life. Upon teleporting, I landed on this beautiful spot where I can see this stone statue couple. What a lovely sight to begin with. It is a beautiful place with breathtaking scenery and view all around the castle. It was such a big castle that I do not know which direction to head first.

I had taken many beautiful pictures of Avilion Castle, all compiled into a video as shown above. Enjoy watching it with the beautiful song Can You Feel The Love Tonight. I think this song really goes well with this beautiful castle.

I decide to go into the castle to have a look first before I visit the exterior beauty of the castle. To enter the castle, you need to be dressed in formal dress. The owner of the castle has provided free evening gowns and tuxedos for the women and men respectively. So if you were dressed in shorts or skirts, you do not have to worry at all. You can take their free clothes just outside their castle.

This is the interior of the castle. It shows a luxurious medieval castle with knights and the floor which sparkles! Quite a number of couples were dancing merrily. I was dancing with a friend too.

This picture below shows the castle and its exterior. As you can see, there were waterfall and beautiful gardens just outside it. I cannot wait to wonder to the garden. I stopped dancing and moved on to the garden.

While walking down the stairs of the castle to the garden, I saw a nice dragon above me. It was flapping its wings. This is my first time watching a dragon in Second Life. It was a beautiful dragon.

There is a maze in the garden. My friend manage to went into the maze. I had difficulty in moving around the narrow maze. I hated it. In the end, I asked for TP instead, and that is how I entered into the maze. There was some fruits and food in the picnic basket. Looked like it is really a comfortable place to have a good rest.

Beyond the maze, there is a bridge leading to the Medieval Community. Below the bridge were beautiful swans and ducks swimming in the water. It is such a beautiful and peaceful view to stand on the bridge to enjoy all these scenes.

Everything is so well designed here. The building of the castle had a mix of stones and wood texture. The plants have a mix of different shades of colours — besides the usual green, there were the pink, yellow and orange flora and even fauna, the deers, ducks and so on.

Right across the bridge is this Medival community where you have beautiful medieval cottages. There were beautiful sculptures and fountains around. I had taken about one hour in this place, but had not managed to finish with its exploration yet. I would surely return to continue my next episode of Avilion Castle Tour. It is a place worth visiting another time and many types perhaps, whenever you need peaceful views and peaceful moments.
