Some Clarification

By Peace | August 1, 2007

Braunworth, Basilica Cardinale Cathedral

Received a comment from Cardinal. This is what he had written to me:

Hi Peacebella. This is Cardinal Sin from Second Life, the person who built the Basilica Cardinale in Braunworth. I just wanted to thank you for your glowing review; I’m very pleased you enjoyed the cathedral!

I just wanted to point out one small error, however, from this page: http://www.peacebella.com/2007/07/29/st-benedicts-monastery/

Just so we are clear, the St. Benedict build has no affiliation with my project; I’m not sure where the connection was made that the two builds were made by the same person or group, but it’s something I’d rather be clear on right away that these two places have no link whatsoever to each other. :)

Thanks again and have a great day.

St. Benedict’s Monastery is located at WildCat

So I had actually made a mistake, but I thought I saw the same group and that is why I thought they were from the same person. So sorry about that Cardinal. However, both places were great and Second Life need more such places.

The next thing is about Dolmere again. Dolmere said he had difficulty in commenting here. I think Cardinal must have the same problem as well. I did not do any setting to the comment. I seldom check for comments. I check for comments and clear spams probably once a week or whenever I remember.  For people who always need to contact me, there is email — email address at ‘about me‘.

With the disappearance of all casinos, Second Life seems to be much more ‘quiet’ than before. Months ago, when I used to go online, there would be friends who are around. Nowadays, when I login to Second Life, no one was around! Richard Palace has lots of land but lots of land not rented out. Business is poor. Ziggly Zack used to have 7 to 8 casinos. I went to one of his casino and it was all cleared, everything removed, including the walls and the floor. I saw new furniture there, some bar counters and other things, cannot remember what is it. My memory is getting very bad. I think he is also one such people who suffer a great impact from this new casino policy.

With so much restriction, can Second Life be as ‘good’ as before? From news resources, it seems like Second Life residents have indeed decrease. What can Second Life residents really do in Second Life since there are no more casinos? It seems quite a boring place that people can hang around for social gathering and shopping only. There is no more thrilling activities except for SEX, which many people are into it. I think that is the next business which will flourish now that gambling is banned in Second Life.

[...] Clarification Nevertheless, I still need to do some posts when need arises or at opportune time. Have been with Second Life for probably 2 to 2.5 yrs while Richard Palace would be even more than me since he is the one who started it and he is the active ones doing his business there. How I get started and my past experience are all recorded here in my blog… its a long long journey…. [...]
