Truly Admirable

By Peace | November 28, 2007

This is a picture of David Winter, taken from my book. I have this collection when I was young. According to the book, David Winter is a British sculptor. I came to know his name while I was shopping in a shop one day. That was the first artist’s name I came to know. I do not know of any other artist whom I would admire. I did not know Thomas Kinkade too. David Winter was the only one in my mind. I admired him not for his face or any of his traits or character. It is his work that I like. Those beautiful cottages that he made.

I love home, any kind of homes. I noticed his cottages. They caught my attention in the shop. There were no Lilliput Lane Cottages in the shop, but only David Winter Cottages. At that time, I did not buy the cottages. They were too expensive. Instead, I bought his book.

I never get tired of looking at homes. Whether in Second Life or in real life, I love to see different types of homes, interior designs of homes and anything about the home. I had even worked in the Real Estate Industry. I had advertised Homes for Sale and Homes for Rental too. I met different types of people, different types of homes while working in real estate. It was interesting. However, those were the times where the internet was not so advanced yet. All the sales and rental advertisements were through the newspapers or flyers. Times are very different now. Today, many real estate companies and agents have websites which can show allow home buyers to search for their dream home. One good example of such website is The Real Estate Book or realestatebook.com. Find new homes, international homes, look at pictures of homes or search for agents. The website is useful for home buyers and home sellers. Everybody likes free gift. They even have a free magazine, The Real Estate Book! If I am in the Real Estate now, I would want to have a website like them! Not only can I sell real home, I would want to sell miniature cottages too.
