My Castle

By Peace | December 12, 2007

SITEX 2007
These few days my computer was having difficulties powering up again. For a while this problem was gone. I went to SITEX 2007, I thought that my computer was fine, and so I did not buy any computer there.

Life-time guarantee, Warranty, Promises, Blah Blah Blah

I bought laptops or notebooks. They never seem to last. Nothing lasts forever in this world. Today all my blogs are seen by the world, but anytime the server is down, all my blogs are ‘gone’. It took me years and months to achieve all these blogs. But all I need is a click or two to delete everything. Creation takes time, maintenance is hard, destruction is fast and easy.

Second Life Memories

My 1% Inspiration, 99% Perspiration
These are my hardwork. I took days to build the castle. I took months to complete, the facade. As in any real castle, it never seems to reach completion. There are too much things to do in real life. I had yet to complete my dream. However, before my dream can be fulfilled in the virtual world, it had to be destroyed.

My Favourite Hiding Place
It is sad to say good-bye to my castle. I had built Cebest’s grave there. I had built my own grave beside it. It is an enclosed and hidden cemetery. It is quiet and peaceful there. It is a safe place, a place where I can rest peacefully with Cebest by my side.

I Even Dream of Stairs!
I love stairs. I used to build stairs with blocks. I used to build stairs with my mother’s Mahjong. That was part of my childhood toys. I have no legos. I made stairs when I made cottages too. I love to make all kinds of stairs or steps. In the castle, I had made three storeys. The second floor was supposed to be the dancing floor. The place where people can have fun. On the third floor, that was a place to see the sky and a place to have some fun under the stars and moon. You could look out but people could not see what was inside unless they were above you. I bought the sex carpet or sex rug. It was curiously fun but intellectually non-interesting. What can be more fun than real sex? Who would want to have finger-typing animated sex if not for curiosity sake?

10 December 2007
That was the day of destruction — my texture land, castle destruction. 11 December 2007 AOL left Second Life. My business in Second Life, Texture Land, was ended as well. Less than a day, less than 2 hours, my castle was gone.

Alternate Avatar
Eclairera Desideri is my alternate avatar. You can have multiple avatars. All thanks to the inspiration from Armeda Sabena. This is a name I can remember and spell so well. You can sign up as male and you can sign up as female. I paid for my alternate account. My purpose of having another account, during that time was to have more privacy. I am sure people who have problems in their relationships will know very well. Do you want your rivals to know what you are doing? If you want more peace, would you not want to have another identity?

How is my business in Second Life? That will be my next topic.

[...] One day, all it takes is one day, for me to be broken and shattered. It takes days and months and even years for me to recover, leaving scars, which may or may not be healed. No plastic surgery could be done. One Satan is not enough in the house. What if there is a Satanic Kid in the house? Married the Devil and give birth to the devil’s kid. Will there be Peace when there is no peace? Yes, I had learned. I will continue to fight with you. You can never win with war. War will always create war. But not with poison.
