Driving on the highway, you can see many types of vehicles in front of you. There are trucks, motor cycles, buses, vans, branded cars, cheap cars, luxurious cars or expensive cars. This is what you see in Life too. Whether you are driving on the highway or walking on the road, the Way or ‘law’ of Life is always the same.
How do you drive your car when you are on the highway? Do you have a destination in mind or are you driving aimlessly, looking and seeing, ‘Di(3) Gor(4) Liang(1) Di(3) Gor(4) Zhor(2)’(Teochew words, meaning where is shady, where you will sit)? When you are on the Highway, you are on the race with many vehicles on the road, so many vehicles, even vehicles which you might never ever expect to see.
Once you are on the Highway, you have no time to think so much. You must have a destination in mind, otherwise you will not be there. What and where is your destination? Is your heart burning with passion and desire to reach there as soon as possible? If that is so, you are not driving aimlessly. You drive happily, knowing consciously where you should go.
Before you are on the Highway, did you do all your preparation and homework? The Highway is not a destination, but it is the platform that lead you to your destination. You will not stay there forever. The platform is full of people, with people of all purpose in their life. If you are lucky, you find people who may go to the same destination as you. Otherwise, you would be alone.
Driving and looking ahead, you can see all the cars and vehicles driving at different speed, all rushing and racing to reach their destination as soon as possible. What a wonderful feeling when you can step hard on the accelerator and your car ‘zoom’ faster.
Nothing is free in this world. What seeds you sow yesterday, you affect what fruits you get today. If you have not been caring for your car or automobile, then your vehicle may not be fair to you either when you are on the Highway. You want your car or lorry to bring you to your destination, you have to look after them, care for them. Shop for autodetailing products or always have automotive care products with you. Do not wait till you are on the highway, for you have no time to waste. If you do not constantly care and maintain your vehicle, this(picture below) might be what you get when you are on the Highway.
If you have always been caring for your car, but the car still breakdown when you are on the Highway, then this is really ‘Suay’ (unlucky) and you will be cursing and busy ‘Cheoking’(cursing). That is just got to show how Life is so unpredictable and how strange it can be. No logic and reasoning can be explained at times. You study English, Maths and Science, but EMS is not equal LIFE.
In case you do not know, the car is your health. The highway is the society. Fast or slow, nobody care. But you have to know, if you only drive and you don’t care about your car, your car will breakdown before you reach your destination. Drive your car, but don’t ignore signs and symptoms that your car is warning you. Clean and polish your car when you have time. Not only is external beauty of the car important, the internal parts need care and maintenance too.
