Three Little Monks
By Peace | March 2, 2008
These are my three little monks collection. They were purchased in Malaysia, during one of the shopping trip. Richard drove a red weekend car during those days and we went to Malaysia to buy Moon Cakes, clothes and car accessories. During one of these shopping trip, I happened to spot these three little monks which cost not more than RM$3 each.
Today my thoughts flow:
It’s not the load that breaks you down, it’s the way you carry it. ~ Lena Home
The bucket of water was so heavy, I lifted it with two hands. I bent my body down as the force of gravity pull me and the bucket of water down. I changed hand, I used my right hand as it had more strength. I bent my body like the crescent-shaped of the moon, towards the pail of water. After walking some distance, I swapped hand again. This time, I used my left hand to carry the pail of water. My body bent again, curved like the moon. The water might had spilled some along the journey.
Only good things come from God’s hands. He never gives you more than you can bear. Every burden prepares you for eternity. ~ Basilea Schlink
My heart carries all the weight, my mind walks the journey.
Our body is just an empty shell. I told Ricsson,”Spiritual Food is better than Physical Food.” However, if you believed totally in these, you are going to die of malnutrition and lack of energy even to think! Spiritual Food is important as having it, you can know the importance of Physical Food. Having well-nourished spiritual food, you can would know how to appreciate your physical food. Physical Food get digested and passed out of your body. Spiritual Food can stay with you for as long as you want it.
Together, these are the Food which I need — Spiritual and Physical. Both food are equally important for my heart and for my mind.
I close my eyes. My heart and my mind meet each other. They nod their head, with agreement with each other. I see darkness, but I feel tranquility.
Come to me, all you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. ~ Jesus Christ, Matthew 11:28
