I am so touched. I cannot control my tears. Holy is His Name, indeed Holy, indeed powerful and almighty. I search
ed for CHIJ St Theresa’s Convent. Read their Easter Prayer, and explore the school online. Vague memories flashes my mind as I looked at their site. Tears flooded my eyes when I hear the school song of CHIJ St Theresa’s Convent, an all-girls Catholic secondary school in Singapore.
It was this cat below, ‘my’ favourite cat(the same cat that was trapped in the Red-lip Palm Tree previously…), which aroused my attention. I was captivated by the beauty of Fu Shan Garden — all the myna gathered, really gathered and playing. They were flying, walking, hopping, and the dinosaurs were freshly painted. They were beautiful. Previously, the park was so dirty and vandalized. But all was over now, it was perfect weather and perfect beauty now.
I was taking photographs — did not want to miss the beautiful moment. I want to share it with you. I walked towards the cat, this Siamese Cat, which this student of St Theresa’s Convent told me, was given to her by a friend. She is a Muslim, but she studied in a Catholic School. Anyway, I wondered what school was that, since she was wearing her school uniform(blue and white). I was so filled with awe when she mentioned St Theresa’s Convent! Affinity, destiny, power of God, miracles, coincidence? It is more than science, more than what scientist can ever find out, about the mysteries of Life.
This girl has two cats, and this is just one of them. It is so beautiful. The brownish legs seem to be wearing boots, the tail is so bushy and soft. She was roaming about and then I saw him chasing after the myna. As he approached, all the myna flew away. This is my first time watching the cats chasing the birds.
We Are One
This is all the effort of the nation, together we are one. Thanks to God, all the Saints come marching, all the Saints and angels helping, our ancestors, my grandparents and uncle, my mother’s eldest brother, Thomas Lee.
Father, We Are Yours
This is the place Richard and I do our sit-up. I used to be fast and easy in doing sit-up, during my Secondary School and College days. Few months back, it was so difficult to reach 30s. I managed to do about 25 sit-ups. But on that special cloud nine day, the breathe of beautiful durian blossoms inspired me, boosted my energy. I did 30 sit-up again. That day, I saw the Yellow Flame, just beside it, Botak (all the leaves dropped and no greens). But yesterday, I saw the leaves grew back again. First I saw the butterfly and then the mynas seemed to play with me too. I saw one, perching on the Yellow Flame, then as I tried to take photograph of it, it flew to the next tree, and then the next and so on. In the end, I gave up taking his photograph. It was just so funny, but it was all such a fruitful day, a day where I exclaimed “Victory Alleluia” in my heart, spontaneously.
