The Bread of Life
By Peace | May 26, 2008
Dreamed of Jesus on the morning of 24th May 2008. Woke up but could not remember the details of the dream, and my menstruation started. I did not know that on 24th May 2008 was the day the church celebrate Corpus Christi, The body of Christ. It was only during the 6pm mass that I came to know. I was so deeply touch when I received the Holy Communion on this day. It was memories of my childhood communion, memories of my mother with me, it was my grand finale….tears of joy, grief, sadness or whatever, naturally flowed down my eyes….
Corpus Christi
Yesterday, 25th May 2008, was a day of Joy, touch and amazement. Awe-inspiring, Awe and All-overwhelming. Though there were some minor ‘disappointment’ as always (with Richard and little of children), overall, it was a good occasion. It is always SO GOOD to be with God, and the only place to be with God, is at the Church, and this is to listen to the Word of God, at Mass.
Story of Holy Communion
Clara would be receiving her First Holy Communion this year. Ricsson had received his First Holy Communion last year. My first Holy Communion was 5th October 1980, but it was literally not the First….
This is my Holy Communion Certificate. My eyes were opened last month when I did spring cleaning. It was the power of the Holy Spirit, which opened my eyes, my understanding.
On 5th October 1980, I received the Blessed Eucharist of Holy Communion for the First Time.
Importance of Education
I did not like to attend catechism class. My attendance was very poor, and that is why my understanding of the Holy Catholic Church is so little and my knowledge and faith so little. I could still remember my mother ‘dragged me’ to the church one Sunday morning to attend catechism, but I just refused. That was the place where I walked last week, on the day 17th May 2008, A Day with Mary, at St Francis of Assisi.
The Seed of Life
A old, quiet and ’sacred’ place now. This stretch of road at Boon Lay just opposite St Francis of Assisi Church, is ‘eerie’ as what Clara said. She said she saw a man cycling, but suddenly the sight was gone. She always can see ‘things’ which I cannot see, on several occasion already.
Change For The Better
Little did I know that there was this old and huge fig tree here. On the right of the fence (the photograph), used to be Corporation Primary School. However, that day, I was so disappointed that Corporation Primary School was no longer there. It is now Grace Orchard School. But later on, I was so delighted that Corporation Primary School is so much improved and so much better than last time.
The Sword That Kills; įŽé čå
I never like reptiles and I am no good with names of reptiles. Monitor lizard or chameleon or whatever it is, this is what I saw on the fig tree. Birds were making lots of sound that day, and this ‘pek kong koi’ was on the fig tree. The other type of monitor lizard which I had seen recently was on the durian tree at Fu Shan Garden.
