This is outside my house, big space, is it obstructing the way? That bicycle at the railing is not mine. WE RESIDENTS did not complain about that. WE ARE NOT that fussy. WE are reasonable and we respect our neighbours. As long as they are not obstructing ‘anything’, not causing great interference to our lives, why bother about such little things???
This is outrageous, stupidity and crazy. My heart is almost jumping out!!! What sort of crazy notice is this! Seen it only because I was going out. Richard told me, otherwise I would not have seen it!!!
Pasting ON Walls
I can easily tear it off! What sort of nonsense is this? Ask people not to paste on walls and this SEMBAWANG TOWN COUNCIL pasting NOTICE on the wall of our building, our flat, outside our house, at our common corridor! Crazy, what are they preaching???

Dear Bicycle Owners
Parking of bicycles at the staircase railing/piping/common areas is not allowed. The corridor and staircase is a fire exit route. In the event of an emergency, this will impede rescue and escape.
Causing obstruction at common area is an offence. You are required to remove it by 8 Jun 2008. Failing which we will remove it without further notice/advice.
You are encouraged to park the bicycles at the bicycle racks located at the void deck of the block or to keep them indoors.
This is making my blood boils!!!! Stupid, really stupid!!! Our void deck got no bicycle racks, so called bicycle racks or whatever for parking of bicycle!!!! Stupid idea, stupid!!!!
Communication Vs Education
We pay money to Sembawang Town Council for what? Never give us anything. Our neighbours even never complain of anything. We neighbours at this level are FINE with everything. And now this stupid NOTICE want people to NOTICE YOU. Don’t even DARE to come and TALK to me PERSONALLY.
If you don’t feel guilty, if your CONSCIENCE ask you to DO IT
REMOVE if you want, what is this stupid TOWN COUNCIL for doing such a thing to RESIDENTS? STEALING BICYCLE?
Without Proper Education, how many Bicycle Racks Also NO USE
Look at Woodlands Civic Centre, just outside Woodlands Library here. Look at how people park their bicycle EVEN when there are given proper bicycle racks or whatever you called it. My block don’t even have any bicycle racks, if there are, you would be sure I would be using them. How many people in my block need to bring our bicycle up and down the lift!!!!

Policemen came for ‘routine show’, to ask about ‘any problems living in this block, blah blah blah…’, the MP came asking the same thing. Complained, told them our concern, our issues, but THEY NEVER CARE, THEY NEVER LISTEN. I ZIPPED my mouth, I stopped opening my mouth. FINE. DO ANYTHING YOU LIKE.

Woodlands Civic Centre here, no NOTICE, how people park their bicycle?? This is even worst!!! EXPOSING to the public, tourist see already also ‘disgrace’ to Singapore!!!! What is NATIONAL SERVICE?? THINK THINK THINK, do the right things right! Such a trivial matter here and bigger problem there never see. Lift also got problems, now bicycle want to meddle. That GL, I talked to him personally before, no problems, and now put one notice here, FOR WHO? MY HOUSE VERY BIG?? THEN I buy this house here for what? Everything want to meddle want to interfere! Got better things for you to do never do, but come and step on my tail!!!!

SEE what happened?? Never take my advice, never take residents’ advice and complaints, and SEE WHAT HAPPENED lately this year? POLICE CASE. ASKED FOR WITNESS. PEOPLE TELL YOU DON’T LISTEN. NOW ACCIDENTS HAPPENED THEN ASKED FOR WITNESS. NOW want to ‘kaypo’ (interfere) with our PEACE on this level of our house. WE neighbours on this level, and so far with my neighbours on this block, got no problems. WE DON’T NEED such NOTICE. GIVE US BICYCLE RACK LAR!!!!

Not happy come and look for me, come and talk to me PERSONALLY!!! COME AND SUE ME IF YOU WANT!!! What is TOWN COUNCIL MAN!!!!
