RIP Gregory Yong
By Peace | June 28, 2008
I am very very sad, very very sad. On the way to church, I saw the birds flying in pairs, that was a beauty and a comfort. We cycled to Causeway Point for our late lunch. After that, we walked around before cycling to church.
On the way, I saw amazing sight. Clara told me that my cat was in front, and indeed it was.
It was Saturday 28th June 2008, 5.27pm when I took this picture. There’s still time and I came down from my bicycle. I was so happy to see Puma Cat again. I told everybody to wait for me while I carried him. He purred when I carried him. He was so soft and gentle.
First time I carried Puma Cat
Richard said,”He is so eerie, looked at his eyes.”. But I don’t find him eerie. I love him, he is so obedient and so cute.
Went to Manchester Eyewear before going to church. There, I saw their Mirror — PUMA, what a surprise.
Another surprise awaiting me…..
For the past few weeks, the priests wore green. The last time I saw Father Terence was Pearl white vestment. Today, I was so surprise to see the big cross and Father Terence wearing red. It was Solemnity of St Peter and Paul the mass is about today. I was very sad to receive a news at the start of the mass. Father Terence announced the death of Roman Catholic Archbishop Emeritus of Singapore, Gregory Yong Sooi Ngean, my respected and beloved archbishop, who had laid his hand on me. I was deeply grieved on his demise, very very sad, very, very. One moment ago, I was so happy to see Puma cat, but now, at the church, I was so sad to hear the news.
This is Father Terence. Red signify celebration, with the dove I see…
The timing is all so ‘chun’ (so accurate), all at the right time, everything, everything that happened…
Gregory Yong, dearly missed (83 years old), I was waiting for news about him, but no news about him on TV, a great person like him, so quietly gone, yet so much bad news being broadcasted on TV…
(28 June 2008 is the 179th day of the year (180th in leap years) in the Gregorian calendar. There are 186 days remaining until the end of the year. In common years it is always in ISO week 26. This date is the only date each year where both the month and day are different perfect numbers.)
