Causeway Special Day
By Peace | July 12, 2008
Today I went to Causeway Point for lunch, and then to the church…
I was so amazed to see so many people today at Breadtalk. I had never seen so many people queuing up for breadtalk for a long time already.
Bread talk… It reminded me of their free gift some time ago…
It was a very special day. Looking at the things around me — BreadTalk celebrates its 8th years birthday, there were some special activities at Civic Centre, which my family and I did not go in the end, and also the special Heritage Fest, where I got to see the Chinese Opera artiste.
We saw this last night… then the children were discussing about this picture “Who is my hero?” We discussed about the characters here as well.
Today, we were so surprised to see all these. I wonder how to get invited, and all the good food… Richard said they were ’showing off’. They never booked any room, but held their official opening here to show off to people, let people salivate on the food. But I was happy to have a chance to see the Chinese Opera artiste… but too bad, did not see their performance.
This is so beautiful. I was captivated by those ‘flags’ attached on their back. The dark blue one was quite scary, but the white ones on the right was nice.
The one on the left looked scary (and he did not pose either, looked ’shy’ and not as confident as the one on the right). The one looking at me looked professional. He saw me taking photos and he stood there, for me to shoot him. That is the kind of right spirit an actor should have. He should feel proud of himself, confident and standing with pride and dignity. I can feel his ’stability’, so cool. I never learned anything about opera, and never like, and never know, but I find it interesting now….
