Image of God

Once bitten twice shy…
I was walking around Garden of Unity, looking at flowers and taking photographs of anything unusual or beautiful. I came to this ‘cancer leaves’ here. Standing in front of it, I sensed some leaves moved beside it….
This plant is what my mother called it ‘Cancer leaves’ and it is a very useful plant in treating cancer…
I shifted my eyes’ view and I saw this reptile on the plant. The stem of the plant is very soft — that explains why the plant ’swing’ downwards when the reptile jumped onto it; and my eyes caught the ‘movement’ at the side of my eyes.
Just taken a picture of the ’serpent’ and I was getting scared…. “Is it going to be bad?” That was what I thought. It looked so scary. I regretted taking the photo later.
Sacred Numbers
Anyway, I moved on. I was heading to look for the children and Richard. Passing by Blk 819, I noticed my favourite plants again. I love the rows of plants along this block of flat. The plants that captivated me always was the white flowers of this house. Never know this family before. But on this day, I discovered even more…
Gardenia jasminoides J. Ellis (also G. augusta (L.) Merr.; common names: Common Gardenia, Cape Jasmine or Cape Jessamine; Kuchinashi (Japanese) and Zhi zi (Chinese 梔子)), fragrant flower growing in Vietnam, Southern China, Taiwan and Japan.
Divine Mercy — Image, Icon, Idols…
This had been the plant I had always been looking for. It was in between the other two plants, very similar species. I was so captivated by it. I walked round this plant. While walking round, I saw for the FIRST TIME, and to my very very very SURPRISE and shocked, the picture of Divine Mercy hanging on the wall of this family. This Indian family (an old lady happened to walk to the window and saw me, and that is how I know it is an Indian family).
Holy Mary, Mother of God
Their altar was placed near the window. This is such a ‘holy’ family. On their main door was placed the picture of Our Mother of Perpetual Help, and on their altar, various statues, including Infant Jesus and Sister Faustina, and some others.
Reflections, reflections
An old man (the neighbour of this family) chatted with me. On my right was some people discussing about sale of the house/rental. When I was about to leave, the grandchild of the old man asked about me. The old man answered her, but later, she came to me and asked,”Whose mother are you?” She asked in Chinese. I don’t know how to answer her. She don’t even know me and I don’t even know her. She don’t even know my children, and how am I suppose to answer her question.
At The Playground
Some Hard to Crack Decision….. (discuss later) … this was perhaps and really the sighting of the ’serpent’ and was called “Temptation”.
Mimicry: The ‘Infant Jesus’ “nailed on the cross”, shedding blood…… the spirit returned….
“Bad karma” as what Richard said or was it coincidence or what? But I tell you, it is all seemed planned, and happened step by step…. I feel scared, scared to make mistakes. Conscience…. I don’t know how to put it, still deciphering…. Had I done the right thing……
