Instrument of God

By Peace | July 22, 2008

Menstruation and Rain would not deter me from going to the church. It rained and my menstruation came in the morning. Richard said,”Now Jesus is first already!” He always wanted to find ‘excuse’ not to go church.

Laugh, you can laugh, you can say anything you want about my family. You can say anything you want, you can say I am abnormal or autistic or whatever you like. I am telling you about my life not for your mockery, but to tell you how much God loves everyone of us.

Today, Richard even said about the members of ‘Emmanuel worship’ group of people. I observed that as well. But it is for ‘this reason’ that we are all here to learn. Right now, I do not want to mention anything about this group of people yet, since it was only a few times that I went there (but out of this few times, I saw ‘something’ and Richard said it today. I did not mention anything about it, but he is always the very observant one…)

On Saturday, this is one of the many songs sang in the church. The songs made the mass lively, otherwise it would be so boring. It is the song that touches the heart, with all the meaningful words followed by the words of God — Somehow I will ‘catch’ something, and that is perhaps how God communicate with me.

Holy Communion Hymn

In the stillness of the dark
I will call you;
You will know My voice
through whisper of your name
In the quiet of the darkness ….

This is not the first time I heard this hymn. The first time I heard, I was touched. The moment of touch is so special. It can make your tears dropped. The ‘sudden’ recalling of memories came automatically. This is perhaps how things are worked — otherwise I would not rewind my memories and I would not remember ‘those days’ ‘those moment’.

I asked Jehovah Witness, last time God spoke to people. Why God did not speak to people now?
I was lucky that I did not follow the wrong religion. I wandered, but was found again. I had an encounter with God and I was convinced that Jesus was dead and on the third day he was resurrected. He had raised Lazarus on the fourth day of his death…

I don’t have much photographs of my room, how I wish I can have so that I can look back at my room…

This was my room in Boon Lay. Many things happened in this room before… During one of the night, when I was alone, I heard people calling me. I told my mother. She asked me to ignore them. That was the only time I heard my name called. (this hymn reminded me of this incident where my name was called)…. Many strange things happened in this room as well…

Here I Am

Here I am, here I am,
I come to do your will.

You did not seek offerings or sacrifice.
You opened my eyes to see,
My ears to hear
Yes, I will come to do your will!

Everyone of us are made in the image of God, and each of us have their own specific purpose to fulfill in their lifetime. God gave us ‘everything’ that you have now, all being unequal, some more and some less. The ultimate aim is still want us to have a peace and harmony among His people, through sharing and understanding of each other’s needs. [...]
