Palm Sunday
By Peace | April 9, 2009
Time flies, when I am busy. It was Palm Sunday (a day of celebration for Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem) then, and now it is Holy Thursday, a day before Jesus died on the cross.
Not Alone Anymore
On Palm Sunday, walking to the church, for the first time, I saw so many mynas in the field. I was thinking of what it all really means….
A mass group of myna at the field opposite Esso Petrol Kiosk or near Blk 350, Woodlands.
Matthew 25: 37 — ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
Minor Becomes Major
During our separation, in the house was only the maid, children and me. I need to look after everything and everyone in the family, and not forgetting my insurance work. It was tough and tiring to handle so many things –an octopus I am. One day, a myna came to our house. We feed it. (will upload the picture and video one of the days — need to search for the disc.) At other times, myna will come to our window, chirping as though trying to say something.
‘I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.’

Father Terence wearing red: How beautiful is this! It was such a spectacular sight — sprinkling holy water on the palm leaves.
