Laksa Complaints

A bowl of Laksa served from this Fish Balls Noodle Food Shop
As Long As It Is Edible…
I have stated my stand in my blogs. This bowl of Laksa is perfectly fine with me even though it differs from the given displayed photographs. There were three pieces of Tau Pok, some cockles (which I did not eat at all…) and as all normal Laksa, there were fish cakes (which I did not eat also…).
Eating My Bowl of Laksa
First, I taste the gravy by eating it with the Bee Hoon in the bowl. It tasted little bit sour. It is definitely not fresh food. I continue to eat, still the same. Next, I picked up my favourite Tau Pok. It was terrible. The Tau Pok was spoiled! It tasted VERY SOUR!!! I threw it out of my mouth.
Feedback To The Stall Vendor
I decided to tell the fish ball noodle stall vendor. The Chinese Lady stood beside her stall, standing. I brought the whole bowl of Laksa to her and tell her that the Laksa tasted sour and the Tau Pok is spoiled. Do you know what is her reaction?
Very Poor Attitude of Food Vendor
“你这个人什么 这样的?” = ” Why you this person like that one?” She shouted loudly at me in Chinese, very agitated. I did not scold her nor blame her. I only tell her about her food… I told her in Chinese,”You don’t believe me, you can try it yourself.” I never lost my temper, never. But she was different. She was not happy. She said in Chinese again,”Morning, I sell is okay!” But do you know what is the time now? Do you know how hot is the weather? (Laksa contains coconut milk and is very fast to turn sour/bad under humid conditions. Tau Pok, I don’t know she had kept it for how many days… who knows (only she herself knows.)
Do you listen to your customer? I walked back to my seat, since that was how she reacted. That was HOW she TREATED her CUSTOMER. Next, she came to me,”I replaced the Tau Pok with Fish Balls.” Throughout the conversation, we communicate in Chinese. I cannot type Chinese here. I asked her,”Are you going to replace the whole bowl or just take out the Tau Pok and put in fish balls.” Do you think she allow me to finish speak what I want to say as in here? Perhaps half the sentence was blurted out only, and she was unhappy and walked towards her stall. I raised my voice so that she could hear me. I do not want to waste the food in case she gave me something I don’t want. But no chance to say. Even though she responded, again, nothing went inside her ear…
Surprised Replacement
I told her that if replacement only then the soup will still taste sour! She just walked away. I sat there, never eat any of the food. Later she surprised me by giving me a bowl of Fish Ball Bee Hoon Soup…. Never in my life do I like to eat this kind of combination food as this….
Replacement bowl of Bee Hoon Fish Ball Soup
The soup was tasteless, except for MSG Taste. The fish balls okay, but not the ones that I like. I did not finish the Bee Hoon Soup either. You can imagine her ‘standard’…
After I left the place, Oasis, I felt so thirsty, and kept drinking water…
If I want to eat fish ball noodles, it would be the small yellow noodles, dry. With chilli or no chilli does not matter as long as no vinegar. That was what I want to tell her, that I want yellow noodle if replacement. But she refuse to listen, never give me a chance to talk, and even if I talked, she never listen and never answered. She just do things her own way…
