Pathway to 888 Plaza
This is a common pathway for bicycle and pedestrians. It leads all the way to Admiralty and beyond. This is a pathway which Richard and I always walk to 888 Plaza. On this pathway, I always observed my surroundings…. This is a ‘deadly’ pathway. I had been watching the water leakage, the litter, and the stagnant water here for several months or many months. I never see any cleaner or NEA personnel or park ranger who come here for their duties. Nothing was done to this ‘faulty’ places. In addition, the MRT pillars were pasted with advertisements of various sorts — looking for pets, properties, tuition etc. (despite ‘warning’ about reporting to the police…)
While walking here, I always ‘discover’ or learn new things (from the birds and the plants). I need time to elaborate them. Yesterday, I discovered that the stagnant water in the drain is now ever worse… Squatting near the drain, I observed the water in the drain ‘moving’. There were ‘particles’ in the drain, together with grass, algae, moss and various debris and other organisms. One obvious living organisms that can be seen was the snail. It was small and black water snails. There were so many in the drain. The water cannot flow…. A little boy was behind me. He was so curious and began to ask me,”Got things huh?” He is a student from Naval Base Primary School if I remember correctly. He is from China and he could not understand much words that I said….
Before I elaborate more about the issue of mosquitoes and an important topic on ‘Spontaneous Generation‘ and Regeneration, let’s take a look at some problems along the pathways that the AUTHORITIES need to LOOK INTO.
Look at this pillar in the photograph above. The water is dripping down from the MRT Tracks from above. This shows that water is trapped somewhere. The fact that the pathway contains water shows that there are already far too much water being collected there, at the grass. Algae growth on the pillar even suggests that this water leakage problem is in existence for not just one or two months issue. It is more than months!
Now, lets take a look at another photograph as shown below. This photograph is taken from the MRT pillar that contains the source of water leakage. That means to say that if you look up from the pillar (with the green algae), you would see the photograph below (also contains algae growth) These are HIDDEN places that TRAPPED water and in turn, BREED mosquitoes, unknowingly.
In such places, they are even “MORE” things to be FOUND, not surprising…… Just need people to do all the work.
A quick video will cut short all the explanation:
Further away from the drains are ‘grooves’ left by those grass cutter/mower. The ‘grooves’ on the grass trapped water as well.
Drain contains stagnant water, as well as water present among the grassland
The grassland or field contains unlevel soil level, trapping water among the grass
On my way home, I saw NEA officers, AGAIN checking people’s HOME…. when they should be targeting at the ENVIRONMENT! I hate to take photographs of the dirty mess along the pathway. It is so disgusting and it pollutes my blogs. IT is just too unsightly….
Yesterday, I felt so uneasy… and before I slept, I saw Richard hitting a mosquito at his place… All windows were closed, toilet door closed,….. mosquito appeared at the ‘dead end wall’ of Richard’s place. At that instant, it was another ‘message’ I received. It is about what I saw this earlier afternoon along the drain (the appearance of all the organisms in the drain) and the ‘appearance’ of mosquito now at home… and that particular morning, the NEA officer just left….
This is called ‘Spontaneous Generation’, and I have more things to say about this which I had encountered. IT is really miracle…

[...] In the church, I discovered an amazing sight. I took out my notebook (for recording notes). To my surprise, I found a feather attached to the book. Clara sitting beside me, I asked her, “Is it you put for me?” Her eyes turned ‘red’, seemed to be surprised and ‘filled with a bit of water’. She shook her head… We did not pick up any feather on the way either. Then I recalled how I had packed my bag JUST this morning before coming to church. I PUT in this Book Personally into my bag. There was no feather at all, really no feather. I was so touched AS PAST MEMORIES Flashes across my mind about the ‘MIRACLES’ of the FEATHERS that had happened at my home (no time to write about it yet) … about Spontaneous Generation and Regeneration… [...]
