Fu Shan Garden (Lantern Festival)
God Is With Me
This is the first time I had taken such a beautiful photograph of Mooncake Festival or Lantern Festival (中秋节 = Mid-autumn festival). In the photograph, you can see a bright shinning moon and a star, just as what it was last night. Usually, my camera cannot take night scene or it would not turn out well. There was once, I tried to take the round and big moon (after church, last year if I am not wrong), but it is just so difficult to capture the moon.
Power of Observation
Last night, we went Fu Shan Garden. I chose to go to the other end of Fu Shan Garden which is just opposite Unity Garden. In this side of Fu Shan Garden, it is normally very dark (so it is a good spot for lighting candles and carrying the lanterns). At first, some people had already occupied the place. So we chose a place beside here, the place where Ricsson and I had found a ‘mysterious bird’ some years back… when Ricsson was small. The bird was very weird. I could not tell if it was a live bird or a statue. It did not move at all and its look are not like any other birds. It is brownish with weird ‘lines’ or ‘curves’.

Telepathy
This is the location where the bird used to stand. At that time, I do not have any camera, nor had I started blogging. This is so strange. I had seen this cat before… and on this night, I wanted to ‘come here’ and this cat was already here… this is really ‘telepathy’ and it seems like the cat was waiting for us…

After the people at the garden had left, we went to occupy the space. Some people gave Clara their lanterns. It happened to be some ‘old lanterns’ from Chinese Garden, Lantern Fun-tasy: East Meets West 2004.
2 Lanterns from Lantern Fun-tasy
There were three lanterns from Chinese Garden, Lantern Fun-tasy — 2 cartoons (with drawing of pooh, nemo, chang-e) and 1 Chinese calligraphy/word lantern (福, pronounce Fu, meaning good fortune). These two were lighted. The other one (‘twin’) was not lighted, a bit damp.
Back home, Richard had this cartoon lantern hang up outside our door. It looked nice and I told him to leave it there. Last night, I lit up the other cartoon lantern (the damp one) and hang at our corridor garden. Last night, Richard had kept my lantern and put it at the shoe rack… I knew about this only this morning when I opened the door. I looked out for the lanterns when I opened the door. This damp one was on the shoe rack. Above the shoe rack was supposed to have the other lantern which Richard hang previously. It was not there. I thought that he had put it down. I was ‘angry’ (disappointed) with him. Before we went out of the house, I still see nothing, NO LANTERN hanging outside the door, but only mine, which I took from the shoe rack, to hang beside the 福 lantern opposite our door.
Christ Be Our Light
We went to 888 Plaza, NTUC Fairprice to buy groceries (milk and diapers for Isaac). On the way, we saw workers coming to clear the drain along the pathway…. On the way back, I saw ‘AMAZING RACE‘, an amazing sight (another post)… and at Fu Shan Garden, another great ‘discovery’… This is a day of ‘great harvest’ really!
Magic
Reaching home, as soon as I came out from the lift, I saw the lantern hanging outside the home, SO OBVIOUS… I asked Richard if he had taken down and put it back before leaving the house just now. He answered, “It’s always there”…… This is really a ‘magical world’, a world full of wonders and mysteries…. 这的却是一个负有神奇和奥秒的世界。。。
Poker Cards -- BlackJack
“PICTURE” or BlackJack?
At Fu shan Garden, I found two poker cards. I asked Richard to guess the covered cards and he said,”SEVEN”!!!! BLACKJACK!!! CAN YOU IMAGINE BLACKJACK and you get number 7 to be paired with the JOKER?
