The Guardian is a 2006 action-adventure drama film starring Kevin Costner, Ashton Kutcher, and Melissa Sagemiller. The film was released on September 29, 2006 and was directed by Andrew Davis, director of The Fugitive. The setting for the film is the United States Coast Guard and their Aviation Survival Technician (AST) program….

Watched The Guardian on 2 May 2011, Channel 5 at about past midnight.  It was such a nice show.  Look at the Chinese Subtitle of the two scenes captured on the screen.  Jake Fischer wanted to know how many people Rendall had saved in his life.  So the latter replied that he only remember one figure… What is the NUMBER?

6.22am I came to know the time. Before that, I was lying on the bed with Isaac on my tummy. He had awoken to drink water. Everyone was quiet lying on the bed. Next, I discoveredsomeone‘ had touched me on my right leg — somewhere further up the knee cap. It was a very fast touch, something like when you try to play a trick on someone — those finger guessing game when we played during the primary school time. We chose one of the fingers of our hand to touch the head of our friend and then our friend was supposed to guess which finger was that. That was the feeling of the kind of touch that I had!

At first, I thought it was Richard, but I turned my head and saw that he was sleeping. Maybe it was Isaac? He was asleep with the water bottle in his mouth also.

Who could this ‘person’ be who is always by my side?

Soon I went back to sleep again (did not want to wake up Isaac). I had a dream this time. I was climbing a big rock. Isaac was in my arms. In order to climb up the rock, I need those people on top to help me. I lifted up Isaac and asked them to hold on to Isaac so that I could climb up the rock myself. It was a special rock, very big and there was ‘hole’ beneath the rock that act like step for you to put your feet in it. Once your feet was placed in the special step, you can climb up the rock.

The next scene that I could remember was running down a great height that was cliff-like. It was exactly vertically 90 degrees going to climb downwards a pinkish red platform (spongy/soft like sofa material). Everyone was going down. SC (second time dreamed of her) from ADSS (Admiralty Secondary School), also an ex-teacher of Jurong Junior College was giving me some advice. She, too, had gone down the steep gradient, with many other people. When it was my turn, I was so scared, looking down. I tried — Jumping and sliding.

After reaching the bottom, I went straight ahead to a ‘flight of seats’ (a special metal frame with many ‘naked’ guy seated, in twos, and in several levels.) The men was not wearing any clothes, but only pants. At the level where I was standing, the man was seated on my left. I was on the right, but standing, spreading out my legs and hands to hold on to the metal frames. My hands were oily and sweaty from previous ‘exercises’. The ‘ride’ was going to start any time and I was so scared. Everyone was seated except me. I was scared of the consequences — that I might drop even since my hands were oily and my legs were barely reaching the metal frame at below.

Suddenly, I was being ‘flown’ away. I found myself separated from the rest. The big piece of metal bar was still with me. Everyone was gone. I was twirling around a foreign place (Malaysia) which I had never seen before. The place was very dark. I did not remember how many rounds I had turned. Then I finally decided to make a choice of stopping the whole ‘single-ride’. I realized that there was pedals just at my feet now. I tried the pedals in different direction. The momentum of the ‘swing’ was disturbed and now I had to be ‘flung’ to the bottom of a fenced-up place (a white house). Before I reached the bottom, I looked around the place. The surrounding was a row of terrace housing (in front of me). On the right was the ‘white house’ as well as a row of ‘special statues’ along the special row of ‘terrace-like’ premises. I saw statues of Chinese woman, Chinese monuments, all started to move! I was so afraid that I would land in this ‘white house’ premises and could not get out (since the place was rather dark, and looked like it was closed, not opened yet — so nobody would come to my rescue). Luckily, I saw a Chinese, fair lady, long-hair, walking out of her house. I quickly called out to her to help me. She was so reluctant but still agreed.

In another part of the dream, big rounded tables were reserved and I saw my family and other people (including FKM)…Malaysian…  On two tables, I saw special prawn (cooked, appearing orange) displayed on the table. They were special prawn that looked like lobster (but not lobster, and did not look like prawn either). I placed two of the prawns together, reserved them for Isaac. Later I discovered them to be lost….
