What is so special about the FLOOR?
This morning I had an amazing dream.
Richard and I went to a resort-like places. I saw two hotel rooms. One was ours and the others was someone else. The first room that I went to belong to ours. The one beside us was supposed to be that of someone else — someone in the dream I had seen, not a Chinese, and it was a man (Gurmit?). Anyway, when I entered the first room, I was surprised that this man was in our room. So Richard and I went to their room instead. Their room was just directly opposite the coffee shop (Kopi Tiam). As such, there was not much privacy to the room. The doors were window-like and we could see the crowds in the coffee shop. There were two beds in this hotel room. It was really not our room and we would not want to deal in this room for long.
Going back to the first room, our room, to take a look, I was surprised that I was stepping on soft grounds in the centre of the room!!! Part of the room has ceramic tiles (big squarish blue ceramic tiles) all removed, revealing brown ‘substances’ — a rectangular big patch in the centre of the room. A female was in the room, rectifying the situation. I was asking her, “what happened? It was okay the last time we used the room!” She told me that the ceramic tiles had cracked unknowingly. The man, together with his friends were about to leave the room now. Before I left the room, I asked the woman,”When will the people come and repair the floor?” The woman called up the contractor and it would not be so soon…
The next thing I can remember now was on the upper deck of the bus. It was a big bus. In order to alight the bus, I need to go downstairs. (In the dream, I never see the bus, but was just on it!) I was so scared of the heights. It was not an ordinary double-decked bus. It was creamy white in colour and the stairs were extremely long, extending some gradient towards the opposite end of the bus (instead of directly downwards). I had to climb the ladder-like steps (made of metals), extending my hands and legs, coordinating slowly, as I was so afraid of the heights. As soon as I reached the bottom of the ‘ladder’, I heard loud applause, which none of the others had.
I came to an estate. It was a big swimming pool. Some people were swimming in the pool. Behind the pool was some blocks of HDB flats. Amanda and I were walking along the pool. Suddenly, I saw amazing sight. It was two rows of clothes aligned properly (like hanging on bamboo rods), being swung round and round in the air. It was simply magic! It was extraordinary! I told Amanda to see. It seemed like it was not her first time to see such things. Being in the estate (Bukit Ho Swee?), she said that it was a common sight to see such things. I was amazed. Imagine how can such things exist in an estate? The clothes were black and brown, and looked like those of witch’ clothes.
Walking further away from the swimming pool, after witnessing such an amazing scene at the swimming pool, I was even more thrilled at another sight in front of us. Walking straight ahead of us was a BLACK-FACED witch (with tied up hair)!!!!! Wearing all black and carrying a broom, she was walking right in front of us, and seemed wanting to talk to us. Amanda told me to ignore her. There, I heaved a sign of relief that she was gone. However, on the right ride of pavement, just a few steps above our pathways, there was another witch walking. This witch carried lots of things with her (bags).
I came to a shop. This shop was up on a slope. A woman was walking with me. She showed me a pen, made of wood (oak), with Chinese Characters written on it. Two characters seemed like 无花 (no flower)… and it was a pen given to her by her husband… She would not want to talk much about it nor her children. The shop was flooded with water on the floor. It was fine earlier on when we came, but now it was all flooded!!! I said,”how can they sit there doing nothing when the floor is all wet?” Then the people began to do something about it. Amanda had spilt some dirty water on me and I was very angry. In return, I scoped up some water and splash at her. My hands were all filled with white ‘furry’ substances from the floor. Feeling so bad, I hugged her and apologised to her. I smelled my hands and there were no smell at all. Even though the floor was flooded, and it looked dirty, there were no foul smell at all. Soon the floor was all dry (damp) again, after the staff had cleaned up.
I was trying to find a good location to capture a photo of the sight. I walked and walked, and soon, I realized that it was a church nearby! A yellowish stone was outside the church. It was a figure of a religious character — I could not remember if it was St Jude or Infant Jesus. I was surprised that I could reach this church even by walking (don’t need to take the bus).
Now, I was at a BIG SEMINARY. I was about to enter the lecture hall (or a big hall with seats). Before I entered the entrance, I saw Gregory Yong (wearing white with the obvious purple belt around his waist). He was like telling me where to go (usher). I saw Isaac wearing beautiful costume. It was something like St Francis xxx uniform (blue), and the course/talk we going to attend. I carried Isaac with me and entered the big hall. I was the only one with a baby in my hand.
BEL was in this part of the dream. Sitting opposite of me was Isaac, dressed in yellow. A beautiful boy was sitting beside me before she came. This boy was dressed in light green and yellow, a bit chubby and very fair, younger than Isaac, but bigger size than Isaac. He was so lovable that I put my shoulders over him. When BEL came to the room, I realized that it was her son…
