Priceless Treasure
By Peace | February 23, 2012
Dreams:
20 Feb: All of us were seated. I looked up in the square above me. It was Richard’s grandfather! He was looking down at us! The place was like a theatre to watch plays. Richard’s grandfather was standing looking down at us!
21 Feb: Saw Perfusionist TSH running the heart lung machine. Joy was playing in the theatre with Krishnan, one acting to be the patient, lying on the bed. Being lectured for playing, as there was real patient waiting for bypass. The operating theatre was not like that of the present day hospital, rather it looked like ‘stadium’ style, with stairs at the side of the operating theatre. It was not as well lit as Mount Elizabeth Hospital. The surgeon with the black headlight on was CN Lee! The assisting nurses were all helping him with a patient on the centre of the room, lying on the bed. The familiar face, capable and on the move, staff nurse was sitting by the ‘stadium’ seats of the room preparing her stuff for the next case.
22 Feb (Ash Wednesday): blue coral fish can swim in the air! Saw my great grandfather’s belongings! They were held by Richard’s father! Among the belongings held by him, I saw a big, black, ‘medical record’ — the size of an x-ray film put in the brown envelope. The ‘medical record’ looked ancient style, like that of the early emperor’s style wordings, very unique and nice. I asked permission from Richard’s father to let me have the medical record of my great grandfather (so strange) — a priceless treasure of the past.
Before I was awoken, I was walking along Blk 176, Boon Lay Place, the place in front of the shops/flat there (as shown in the photo above). It was something I did not see before! There were water works, natural pond with fishes inside — a spectacular sight! The present area now and in the past were all concrete, but in my dream, it was soil and natural pond, so natural and beautiful. Just across the place was two roads. Crossing the road would be St Francis Church of Assisi. Richard and I were walking towards the church, and witnessed the sight. I was so amazed to see so many orange koi in the pond, as well as pathways leading to the pond — there were two pathways you can walk. If you choose the one at the pond (somewhere in from of the block of flat in the first photograph above), you get to walk in the water (pond) with stones separating each other that act like stone paths, very natural, but you would (or might) get wet a little on your feet. So Richard and I chose the front way (somewhere at the position of the clock playground as in the photograph above), but hidden on the left, on the side of the pond was another deep pond. Perhaps the two ponds were connected (I don’t know if they are connected). Just as I was feeling so excited about the ponds and the fishes, and time was running out (attending church perhaps), Isaac needed my care next. My dream was put to an end — unable to attend the church!
(Did not attend Ash Wednesday. Got head pain again.)
